The AI–Animal Observatory (contact: aiao [at] aiao [dot] org) collects the email address you submit, with your consent, only to send you updates from AIAO, including new data, reports, and announcements. Signing up is optional. Our host also records the IP address and browser details sent with the form, and logs visitors’ IP addresses to run and secure the site, which is in our legitimate interest. Our host and email providers process this data for us, partly in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or we stop sending updates; server logs are kept only as long as our host needs them to run and secure the site. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your data, by emailing us or replying “unsubscribe” to any update. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
